Prasanna Mishra taught Political Science in Utkal University before joining IAS in 1966. He superannuated in 2004 as Secretary to Government of India.  His Odia Book UPALAKSHYA, contains essays and reflections. Tryst with Life is a collection of poems. People, Events and Governance is a collection of essays, experiences and reflections. He has two Anthologies – Defining Moments and Reminiscences of Public Servants and Domain Experience of some Coal Miners of India. Active on social media, he loves his long morning walk.
