Aditya Nayak translates from Odia into English and vice-versa. He has four publications to his credit. His English translation of two critical essays was published in a volume brought out by Routledge titled Critical Discourse in Odia. One of his translated stories has been included in a book titled Medical Maladies published by Niyogi Books. Odisha Sahitya Akademy has published his English translation of Gopinath Mohanty’s Utkalamani. Recently he was invited as a language expert by CIIL, Mysore, Govt. of India. He has recently been commissioned by the National Translation Mission to translate a knowledge text into Odia. Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, has assigned to him the task of translating into English Gopapura by the award-winning Odia author Dr. Ramachanra Behera.
