Dillip Behera, an Odia short story writer, Playwright and Poet, born in 5^th June 1988 in Badampur, Mayurbhanj, Odisha. Holds MBBS, MD also master’s degree in English. Knows Hindi, English, besides Odia. Currently working as an Assistant Professor in KIMS Medical College, Bhubaneswar. Began writing during school days, and has published Panthasala, Ashtray, Lanthan (Collection of short stories), Level Crossing (Poetry) and Saba satkara O Anyanya nataka (Collection of plays). Is a recipient of Kendra Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar-2022, Katha Nabaprativa Puraskar, Kishori Charan Galpa Puraskar, Fakir Mohan Galpa Puraskar, Justice Harihar Mohapatra Natya Puraskar among others.
