Dr. Ajit Kumar Kullu, an assistant professor at Sambalpur University takes a special interest in Adivasi literature. He is the author of a collection of Sadri poems Kahani.  He translated and examined Adivasi tales of Western Odisha for his PhD. His research interests include translation studies and cultural studies. He is the managing editor of Sambalpur Studies in Literatures and Cultures (SSLC), a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of English, Sambalpur University. Dr. Kullu has translated two books from Odia to English Dawn Rahapsodies and Preetilagna and Other Stories.
