With a post-graduation in psychology and diploma in labour law, she is a homemaker. She is recipient of Bhubaneswar Pustak Mela Award (2017), Balangir Bahi Haata Samman (2017), Nihar Kanya Bitanu Nayak Smruti Samman (2017), Odisha Lekhika Sansad Prafulla Kumari Jema Samman (2018), Chetabani Sahitya Sansad Jyoti Mishra Juba Pratibha Samman (2024).
