Pradosh Mohanty had his post-Graduation in English from Ravenshaw University; started his career initially as a banker and later turned into an Income tax man and demitted office as Chief Income Tax Officer.He was President of Ravenshaw English Alumni Association and deeply involved with Universities to conduct literary functions. Being a connoisseur of art and culture, Mohanty curated Bhubaneswar Literary Festival for many years. Besides, he also curated Shakespeare Festival and many Painting exhibitions and other Literary programs.
