Suprova Roy (b.1939) is writer and translator. She has translated 6 short story collections and 22 novels from Bangla literature which include the works of Ashapurna Devi,Nihar rAnan Gupta, Bimal Mitra, Prafulla Roy and Sunil Gangopadhyay.Bedides, she has many children literature to her credit. Members of numbers of literary organisations , Roy has bagged many awards for her relentless translations to enrich the Odia literature.
